"I was taught that way of progress was neither swift nor easy." -Marie Curie (1867-1934)
‘What’s in a name?’ (Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet).
The name for the business comes from Monica’s nine year-old daughter, who liked the rhythm of it and also the idea that we’re always learning, whether we’re a student or a teacher. We’re always on the move.
Incidentally, Monica’s daughter also declared her strong desire to learn ice-skating during the December of 2017. Inspired by her enthusiasm, Monica and her husband, both in their 40s, signed up for lessons for this serious recreational sport. The terror of breaking bones was never far off every time they stepped on the ice. Falling became a norm, and with every fall, the terror doubled. But, funnily enough, they kept at it.
It has been a few months now, and while they still wear fetching helmets on ice, Monica and her husband are able to move around the ice with more confidence and not fall as much. They’re still learning and are by no means experts, but they continue to push themselves through determination and perseverance. That’s the only way to learn.
